Special Projects Coordinator

Job Intro

The Electric City/La Nouvelle France Society is seeking a Special Projects Coordinator to plan and organize a series of initiatives that extend beyond our regular operations. These projects are vital to advancing our goals and objectives, and play a key role in fostering an inclusive and forward-looking future for our community.

Typical Work Day

The successful candidate will be required to research aspects of programming and organization, and to reach out to and develop potential partnerships. The participant will plan for and execute individual special projects, including collecting and organizing artifacts and archives; research, organize, and plan for a major new off-season regional Theatre Festival, including working with those directly involved with the Festival as required, such as the playwright/director; plan for and organize Special Projects specifically aimed at involving seniors; preparing and completing a volunteer information and orientation plan; plan for, develop and implement comprehensive promotional campaigns; and complete several reports for the Electric City Board as required.

Other tasks may be assigned as the Board decides.
